Umnik_VII_2013

On April 10, 2013 the results of the VII Contest of the Student research projects under the program UMNIK of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology were summed up.

After the final selection 18 winners of the 49 finalist projects were determined, including the winners who applied for the competition for the fourth time.
Every year the quality of all projects is becoming higher, and it is more difficult to choose the winners, as experts notice. It is a pity that it is impossible, in accordance with the quota of the Fund, to choose a certain number of winners, as it is always limited by 20.

It is nice to realise that the authorities support the competition in the Perm region, especially the Head of Administration of the city A. Makhovikov, the Deputy Head of the city administration V. Ageev, Deputy Head of the Department of Industrial Policy, Investment and Business Administration of the city P. Noskov.

Since 2013, the competition UMNIK in the Perm region is organized according to the new Regulation, there are no major changes, but it allows the participant to get more points after correspondence examination due to the demand of scientific work. The demand is determined by the compliance of an application form to technological inquiry. All industrial enterprises were invited to participate and write their real technological challenges. The applicants were: "Proton-PM", "ICS-networks", "Novomet Perm", "Motovilikha Plants", "Biomed" and "Perm Research and Production Instrument Company."

On behalf of the Regional Assistance Fund we declare that we have never announced the judges of our competition, because it is prohibited by the rules of the Fund, but we would like to express our gratitude to each expert for the constructive work, altruistic motives and unselfish evaluations.

We wisha all the participants, whatever the outcome every success, discoveries brilliant ideas and good luck in your difficult but interesting work!
